The park offers a variety of amenities including laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, and a dog park. The campground is situated near the American River and surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery. I'm concerned about traffic in the area, getting to the RV Park from I80. From the parks I've found around Sac, the Cal Expo RV Park seems to be the best bet.

I will be following up with Cal expo customer service to file a official complaint. The Cal Expo RV Park is located in Sacramento, California and offers 190 full hook-up RV sites with a mix of pull-through and back-in sites. The Cal Expo RV Park is centrally located in Sacramento close to shopping, restaurants and access to the American River Bike Trail and Parkway. We have a 35ft fifth wheel and will be going to Sacramento for a wedding in Old Sacramento June 2. This place is atrocious and so is there security and volunteer staff. We will NEVER return to this location and for $50 a night I recommend looking elsewhere. When I politely asked for a corporate number I was treated with the police being called on me. Kids riding bikes in groups of 6 and 7 kids thru our camp site and when I approached security I was told nothing they could do it was and I quote a parent supervision issue!! When I went to the office to address the issues we had during our stay I was told too bad leave and refused a management contact number. Kids running around in mobs at night thru our camp site no adequate security. This year-round facility is perfect for weekend trips or a stopover between destinations. Power was popping the entire duration of our stay. The RV Park is centrally located in Sacramento close to shopping, restaurants and access to the American River Bike Trail and Parkway. After having already made the trip we made it work. We were told take it or leave after making a reservation. We were put in a concrete spot meant for a much smaller rig with only 30 amp power. This location is ran by volunteers who are to use the words rude and disrespectful would be a understatement. I would leave less stars if possible and I won't be returning to this poorly ran RV pit stop.
